Architect Microsoft Azure Solutions 70-535 Exam

Microsoft has announced that Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions 70-534 Exam will retire on 31st December 2017 and last date to register for the 70-534 Exam is Nov 30, 2017.

Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions 70-534 Exam will be replaced by 70-535 Exam. 70-535 Exam will be available from Nov 30, 2017 onwards.

If you have passed the Exam 70-534 Exam then you are not required to take 70-535 Exam. Any Microsoft Requirement which requires 70-535 Exam can be met by 70-534. For Example If there is any Microsoft partner certificate requirement for Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions then either of 70-534 or 70-535 Certification can fulfill it.

Next important point is whether you should go for 70-534 or wait till Nov 30 for 70-535 Exam. If you have already prepared for 70-534 then go for it and don’t wait for 70-535 Because your momentum will break if you now start preparing for 70-535. There is around close to 3 Months to prepare and take 70-534 Exam.

If you have just started preparing for 70-534 then it makes sense to go for 70-535.

After going through 70-535 objectives i found that there is no change in core topics (Virtual Networks, Storage, Compute, Azure AD etc) of 70-534 and 70-535. In fact they are absolutely same. What has happened is that MS has added some new sub topics within these core topics such as Network watcher, Azure AD Privileged Identity Management and container etc.

I will once again stress this point that if you are already into preparation for 70-534 then go for it as you have time till 31st Dec 2017. There is no point breaking momentum now if you are already into 70-534 preparation.
